So I noticed that I'm not online very often anymore, and I'm sure you guys who haven't completely, utterly given up hope on me have noticed it, and even those who have given up hope have noticed it (maybe it has something to do with being off line for 42 weeks.)

I feel really bad about not being online very often any more, and on the rare occasion I am online, for not talking and catching up on everything and, especially, for not submitting things.

There's a few reasons I'm not uploading things hardly ever anymore; I'm doing more traditional work then digital as of late and the whole 'not having a scanner' thing is kinda throwing off uploading any of that, unless you don't mind photographs; When I am drawing digitally, it takes me a lot longer then it use to to finish a piece. Stories- that crazy big picture that took me about sixteen hours to finish a few months back? That would probably take me two to three days now. Which bugs me; I don't submit much writing, which I've been doing a lot more as of late... really, I'm not sure why. I guess because it just feels out of place in my gallery, most of which is pictures? The same thing goes for photography, which I have tons of sitting on my computer; I'm forgetful, simply as that.

For the few who read Demigods of Eco; I'm sorry that hasn't been an update in a year or more. At some point during the writing it started feeling more like I was writing it for other people, rather then for myself and for fun. When that happened, my will to continue writing the story... vanished.

For those who enjoy my art for one reason or another; I'm sorry I've been so unreliable about making and posting things. Once again, I think this is because it started feeling like I was drawing for others, rather then myself. If you'll accept photographed traditional sketches until I get a scanner, I'll start uploading a lot more often.

No matter how many times I say it, I don't think I'll say it enough;

I'm sorry.

No matter what I say, explain, or give as an excuse, it's still just that- an excuse. I know I'm not bound by the laws of world or anything to update, but I feel that when I signed up those two years ago I was saying "Hey, I'm here. I'm a member. And as such I will update as regularly as I can with things I made to the best of my ability. So I do solemnly swear." And I've let that down. No excuse I give can possibly forgive that. I'm not looking for sympathy or the like, simply stating it as I see it.

I'm a lazy slacker who keeps putting off this account, this site, that's practically defined who I am on the internet. And I'm sorry for it.

You guys have stuck with me this long. Those who are still sticking with me and haven't lost hope and given me up as a lost cause after these two long, long years... thank you. Thank you so much. And I'm sorry I've been such a failure as a member of the dA community. If you're still willing to stick with me, I promise I'll try my best.
